ANNUAL
REPORT
2018 — 2019
Got 3 Minutes? Take a Tour OF OUR CAREER CENTERS!
FROM THE CHAIR
Collaborate. Innovate. Lead.
How do you share in just a few words the impact CareerSource Brevard (CSB) has in providing Brevard’s citizens with the training and employment they seek to sustain a lifestyle they deserve?

You share the successes, the outcomes, the facts and figures — all reflecting CSB’s focus: Preparing the workforce to meet the demands of our businesses. You follow industry and workforce trends and anticipate the communities’ needs. Then you deliver the programs and services most in-demand.

Amid the reality of unprecedented low unemployment, the challenge of meeting this demand is two-fold: finding and building skilled talent. People need the opportunity to “upskill” and break free from lower wage jobs to become more gainfully employed.

I’m honored to be a part of the beneficial work done this year, look forward to supporting future CSB efforts and encourage you too, to become part of the solution. Your voice, your expertise, your time — all valuable, all necessary to the economic health of our community.

Take a moment to enjoy this year-in-review and its many successes — it took a community, and we should all be very proud.
